Kokeshi Exhibition at the JANM
If you noticed the light posting this week, it's because I was finishing up my kokeshi doll for the upcoming Kokeshi exhibition at the Japanese American National Museum opening in July. If you are in L.A. go check it out. There are some really amazing artists that were invited to participate.
Here's the Kokeshi I painted for the show at Subtext in 2007.

Springfield Antique Show
Although I only bought one little item, a $3.00 ceramic bear, I took home a lot of pictures from the Springfield Antiques Show and Market this past Sunday. One seller suspiciously asked me what they were for, and I just told him the truth, "my blog".

Agora this Saturday
Just wanted to say that I'll be at Agora selling some prints on Saturday, there will be live music, open studios and Jeni's ice cream. Stop by and say hello!
On a side note, Kai took a tumble on our concrete patio steps on Tuesday, now he's got a big scratch across his nose and forehead. Thank goodness it was a pretty minor fall and his wounds have been healing really fast. I guess putting a foam helmet on his head until he's 18 would probably be a little overkill.
